CG|Motocorp, the sole authorized distributor of Suzuki cars in Nepal, has launched the all-new Suzuki Celerio in the Nepalese market. At 26.68 km/l*, the Celerio is claimed to be the ‘most fuel-efficient petrol car’ to be available in the Nepalese market.With the increasing fuel prices in the country, the all-new Celerio can be a perfect car for Nepalese customers as it promises to be low on running cost, says the company.The new Celerio will be available in the Nepalese market at a starting price of Rs 27.99 Lakh.

According to Mr. Siraj Pant, General Manager, Sales and Marketing," The Celerio has been a much-loved family car in the Nepalese market. This next-generation Celerio, offers even more to our Nepalese customer with its highest mileage and unmatched safety and convenient features, while offering a fresh new design in this segment."Powering the new Celerio is a new K10C DualJet 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67 hp and 89 Nm of torque. The engine also gets an idle start/stop system. The engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.The new Celerio will be underpinned by Suzuki’s Heartect platform that also underpins the current WagonR. The new Celerio gets a rounded design language highlighted by rounded headlamps, a larger glasshouse, and a tapering roofline. The front fascia sports an all-new radiant grill with sharp chrome accents combined with a new headlamp that gives it a signature look.Inside, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Maruti’s SmartPlay Studio, newly designed AC vents, and a spacious cabin. The new Celerio also gets electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors, keyless entry, steering-mounted controls, and more. On the safety front, the new Celerio gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, speed-sensitive door lock, and even hill-hold assist for the automatic variants.The new Celerio is bigger than the outgoing model. It measures 3,695mm in length, 1,655mm in width, 1,555mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,435mm. Also, the new model is 55mm wider, while the wheelbase is 10mm longer. The new Celerio’s ground clearance stands at 170mm, 5mm higher than before.The new Celerio will be available in 6 monotone colour options – Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Solid Fire Red, Speedy Blue, and Caffeine Brown.[table id=217 /](*Claimed by Maruti Suzuki India Limited)
